I was recently in an area hospital, very well known and prominent hospital in the Sarasota County area. My nurse had a full sleeve from shoulder to wrist of beautiful black and grey work. It was refreshing to see that this organization was allowing her to be who she is and show her skin art while provide excellent care I might add. Tattoos aren’t reserved for the biker gangs and party people. Not at all. Tattoo is a fine art. People who indulge in body art are literally carrying someone’s skill, care, craft, and creativity around with them everywhere they are, everywhere to go, forever. What a tribute to the artist! I’ve been a fine artist for 30 plus years, mostly in studio arts and now I’ve translated my skills in fine art into ink and needles. When you receive a tattoo from me, you are my calling card. You are my business. You are my art. Which means, you are my first priority. I do what I do so that I can make people feel and look their best. With a happy heart and a happy self image, you can conquer your life. Make an impression on someone’s else’s. Smiles are contagious after-all. So to sum it up, get the tattoo. You’ll be glad you did!
There is no more tattoo stigma. Let’s embrace difference and embrace body art as a form of beauty and dedication to craft. Let’s get inked!
